About Scott C. Faciane

Scott is a native Texan, born and raised in the DFW Metroplex.  Scott attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.  Knowing he wanted to live and practice law in Fort Worth, Scott attended Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law) in Fort Worth, where he was elected President of the Student Bar Association and served on the Law School Dean Search Committee.  Following stops at a big asbestos defense firm and a small civil litigation firm, Scott, recognizing a need for more client focused and results oriented representation, formed The Faciane Law Firm in 2002.

Since 2002, Scott has represented multiple small, midsize, and large businesses as outside general counsel, tried numerous business, probate, and injury cases to verdict,  helped countless families navigate the estate planning and probate process, handled more than two thousand mental health commitment cases, and served as lead counsel in dozens of business, real estate, and oil & gas transactions ranging in value from hundreds of thousands of dollars to hundreds of millions of dollars.

Scott has served as President of the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association, Vice President of the Northeast Tarrant County Bar Association, associate member of the Eldon B. Mahon Inns of Court, and as a member of the TCU Junior Clark Society.  Scott has been voted by his peers as a Top Attorney in Fort Worth as published in Fort Worth Magazine, and has been recognized by his clients and Martindale Hubblell as a Client Champion.

Scott is a member of Best of the Bar as a result of obtaining one of the Top 100 Jury Verdicts in Texas in 2019.  Scott has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyers in Texas by the National Trial Lawyers Organization.

Scott is licensed to practice law before all state courts in Texas, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the Supreme Court of the United States.  Scott holds a Guardianship Ad Litem Certification from the State Bar of Texas, and is a certified continuing education course instructor through the Texas Real Estate Commission.

In addition to the practice of law, Scott is a principal in several outside businesses in a variety of industries including aviation, construction, oil & gas, real estate, retail, and manufacturing.

Scott lives in Fort Worth with his wife (a fellow lawyer), daughter, and their two dogs.  Scott and his family attend Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth, and are involved in activities at All Saints Episcopal School in Fort Worth.

When time permits, Scott is a frustrated golfer and an aspiring ski bum.
